A Case of Plasma Cell Myeloma Presenting Soft Tissue Mass in the Nasal Cavity

Abstract

|
A 71 years old male patient who presented epistaxis 2 weeks ago visited at CNUH. MRI revealed soft tissue mass in the nasal cavity involving paranasal sinuses and invaded walls of frontal sinus. A punch biopsy specimen diagnosed as plasma cell myeloma. Plasma cell myeloma involving nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is a rare tumor, so we report this case with differential diagnosis of small round cell malignancies in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.
